Challenge Missions and Consumables
It is obviously unfair that in challenge missions consets give an advantage to the richer people. Don't flame, I can easily afford them.
If you are going for a new record, you will be obligated to use them, or hack the game or cheat in some way.
I wouldn't like to see consets removed from the challenges, so I thought about something else:
Blessing
<Insert fancy name here>
Same effects as the consets.
This would be much more fair and cheap.
What do you think?

So, you want everyone to have the feeling like they're using a conset all the time, except it's free?

Thats the point where your idea went south. Neither cons nor grind skills should be allowed in any competitive area.

Ursan+Essence+Grail+Armor=win
Challenge missions are PvE. Unless you face other real players, those items should stay. Not sure PvE should have them, least not how they currently are, but why make some parts of PvE different? I know it is not the same, but it sounds exactly like the people who say it is unfair people use Ursan+cons to farm UW and FoW.

So... basically... you say 'do not let them use those items, of give them to me for free'?
Why?

Because it shouldn't be based on how rich you are. Consumables need to be removed from challenge missions. They were a bad idea from the start.

They don't require anyone to be 'rich'.
For each time you make Kilroy's dungeon you can get one powerstone or two of the others.

Alright, then another issue. What if they don't have EotN? Then they can't even seriously compete in a mission in the campaign they have.

I've played a few Challenge Missions with my guild a few days ago. And I thought about the fact how unfair it is if A.Net allows ConSets and PvE Skills for what they call "competitive missions".
But then, the reward fo playing these missions sucks so much that I give a damn about it or the highscore list.
/not signed for the blessing
/signed for prohibiting any ConSets or PvE Skills to maintain the competitive nature of these challenges (as strange as that may sound)
